What is included
A written scar-care plan, silicone tape, sheets or gel, instructions on when to start and how hard to massage, and scheduled photo reviews at six weeks, three months, six months and one year.
Why it is not optional
Scar quality is the part of the result you can still influence after the operation. Patients who follow the plan end up with visibly better scars than those who do not — it is the single highest-return thing you can do.
